BOX SCORE Reading, Pa. (Sept. 16, 2015) - Dickinson College (4-1-1) fired off 26 shots en route to a 3-0 win over Alvernia University (2-5) Wednesday evening in non-conference action on Alvernia's Turf Field. 

The Red Devils and the Crusaders played tough through the first half, holding each other scoreless with a combined five shots on goal.

Dickinson broke out in the second half, notching three goals across the half. Jenna Lamb picked up the bookend goals for the Red Devils, netting the team's third of the night with just over a minute left in the game.

The Crusaders had a great scoring opportunity in the 82nd minute on a corner kick from Johnna Shank, but Alvernia was unable to convert the shot.

Jessica Plunkett collected nine saves on the night, while Kayla McNamee led the Crusaders in shots.

Alvernia returns to the turf on Saturday, hosting DeSales at 1:00.
