Reading, Pa. (Sept. 23, 2015) - Ursinus College (6-1) scored four goals in the first half on its way to a 5-0 win over Alvernia University (2-7) Wednesday afternoon in non-conference women's soccer action at Alvernia.

The Bears scored the first goal of the game in the eighth minute then ran off three goals in a three minute stretch late in the first half to build the 4-0 lead at the break.  They added the final goal of the game in the 85th minute.

Erin Farrell scored the first two goals of the game--her third and fourth on the season--and three players netted their first of the season.

Margaret Burnett started in net for the Crusaders and made four saves.  Jessica Plunkett played the final 54 minutes and recorded three saves.

Alvernia returns to action Monday at Rowan University.
