Reading, Pa. (Oct. 26, 2016) - Alvernia University (6-11, 3-4) fell 3-0 to Albright College (10-7-1, 4-3-1) Wednesday evening in MAC Commonwealth Women's Soccer action at Albright.

The Lions held a 1-0 lead entering the second half, where they tacked on a pair of goals.

Albright's Morgan Valera proved to be its biggest offensive threat, putting away two of the three goals.

The Crusaders ripped a trio of shots in the second half, with their best scoring opportunity coming from Lauren Gough in the 69th minute.

Senior Taylor Smith recorded all 90 minutes in the net, gathering seven saves in her first collegiate goalie appearance. 

Alvernia will wrap up its regular season on Saturday, hosting Lebanon Valley at 11:00 am. The winner of the senior day contest will claim the 5-seed in the MAC Commonwealth tournament.
