Adam Orndorff scored the game winning goal in the 6th minute of overtime to claim a 1-0 win over Lebanon Valley College Saturday afternoon in MAC Commonwealth Men's Soccer action at Alvernia University.
The Dutchmen started off hot in overtime, getting two quick shots and corner kick opportunity. Alvernia quickly countered down the field as
David Gonzalez served a long ball over top of the Dutchmen defense to give Orndorff a breakaway. Orndorff capitalized on the advantage, driving the shot from far center through Dutchmen goalie Cam Avery,
Alvernia had many goal opportunities in regulation. Its best scoring chances came in the 69
th minute when four different Crusaders took a total of five shots after a corner kick, but all were saved.

Zach Rider collected a huge save towards the end of regulation, gathering a point blank shot to keep the score 0-0. Rider finished the day with 4 saves.
Alvernia finishes the regular season earning the 3-seed in the MAC Commonwealth tournament, which begins on Tuesday with the No.4/No.5 play in game. The Crusaders open post-season play on Thursday in the semi-finals, traveling to 2-seeded Lebanon Valley College. Game time is set for 2 pm.
