Reading, Pa. (Mar. 19, 2016) - Immaculata University (3-4) scored three goals in the beginning of the fourth quarter en route to a 14-10 win over Alvernia University (2-5) Saturday afternoon in non-conference men's lacrosse action at Alvernia.
The fourth quarter opened up with an illegal stick penalty against the Crusaders to give the Mighty Macs a three minute, non-releasable extra man advantage. In this time, the Mighty Macs scored three goals to give them an 11-7 lead. Both Tyler Black and Mike Reardon had four goals on the day for Immaculata.
The Mighty Macs had a 2-1 lead at the end of the first quarter and extended their lead to 6-3 by halftime. Freshman
Jarret Abernethy lead the Crusaders with four goals, two in each half.

The Crusaders will travel to Bryn Athyn College next Wednesday for another non-conference game.
