Camden, N.J. (Sept. 7, 2016) - Rutgers-Camden (1-0-1) converted a penalty kick in the 107th minute for a 1-0 win over Alvernia University (0-3) Wednesday evening in non-conference men's soccer action at Camden.
The teams played to a 0-0 draw into the second overtime before the Crusaders were whistled for a takedown in the box. Camden's Aaron Muse took the kick and converted his second goal of the season.

Alvernia's best chance came with just over 10 minutes left in regulation when
Austin Young served a corner kick that
Jarett Nast headed on net, but the Camden keeper made a point blank save and his defense was able to clear the ball out of trouble.
Alvernia continues a tough non-conference schedule facing Haverford College on Saturday at Eastern University.
