Owings Mill, Md. (Oct. 24, 2017) - No. 19 Stevenson University (28-1, 8-0) defeated Alvernia University (14-11, 3-4) 3-0 Tuesday evening in MAC Commonwealth women's volleyball action at Stevenson.

The Mustangs opened the match with a 25-15 win, took the second set 25-19, and closed the match 25-18 in the third.

Alvernia senior Kristen Sipling led the Golden Wolves with 16 kills.  Abby O'Donnell had 27 assists.

???????Alvernia closes the regular season hosting Albright College on Thursday.  The Golden Wolves would lock up the fifth seed in the MAC Commonwealth postseason with a win or a Widener loss.
