Clearwater, Fla. (Mar. 6, 2017) - Misericordia University (3-0) defeated Alvernia University (1-2) by a 20-10 final Monday afternoon in non-conference men's lacrosse action at Phillip Jones Park.
The Cougars scored the first four goals of the game and held a 12-6 lead at halftime.
Christian Chambers won 14-of-22 faceoffs and
Kyle Augustine made a career high 20 saves in net for Alvernia.

Benjamin Manning had two goals apiece to lead the Crusaders.
Alvernia will finish the spring break schedule facing Methodist College on Thursday.
