Kyle Augustine collected 14 saves while
Andrew Ritchie posted a career high five goals and two assists to lead Alvernia University (3-5) to a 9-5 win over Wilkes University (3-5) Saturday night in some men's lacrosse non-conference action.
Ritchie scored his first goal on the day midway through first quarter to tie the game up at 1-1 going into the second quarter. The Crusaders scored two goals in the second quarter to take a 3-2 leading into halftime.
Wilkes cut the lead to one over in the third quarter until sophomore
Chase Whaley scored his first career goal on an 85-yard shot as time was expiring to take a 6-4 lead heading to the fourth quarter.
Alvernia scored three more insurance goals in the fourth quarter to ensure the victory over the Colonels.

Zach Brommer handed out two assists.
