Madison, NJ. (Apr. 9, 2017) – FDU-Florham (9-3) scored the first four goals in both the first and second half in a 15-3 win over Alvernia University (6-5) Sunday afternoon in non-conference women's lacrosse action at FDU.
The Devils scored their first three goals in the opening 10 minutes and took an 8-2 advantage into halftime.
Abby McCarthy provided all of Alvernia's tallies, notching a trio of unassisted goals on the day.
FDU limited Alvernia to just two second-half shots on goal, compared to eight in the first.
Samantha Rothman suffered the complete game loss in goal, gathering 6 saves.
Alvernia returns to action on Thursday, traveling to Stevenson University for a MAC Commonwealth matchup at 7:00 pm.
