Reading, Pa. (Sept. 18, 2017) - Elizabethtown College (6-3) took a 3-0 win over Alvernia University (8-4) Monday evening in non-conference women's volleyball action at Alvernia.

The Blue Jays rallied for a 25-20 win in the opening set then followed with an identical 25-20 win in the second set before closing the match with a 25-19 win in the third.

Senior Kristen Sipling, the nation's leader in kills, led the way with 17 kills in the match.  Abby O'Donnell had 37 assists and Laura Wachowicz had a team high 13 digs.

Alvernia returns to the conference schedule on Wednesday when it hosts Hood College.
