Reading, Pa. (Jan. 27, 2018) - Alvernia University (2-4) split a pair of matches at its home quad match on Saturday beating Lehman College 3-0 before falling to Vassar College 3-0.

In the win over Lehman, Anthony Dadson was dominant for the Golden Wolves hammering out 11 kills in 19 swings.  Sophomore Ralph Lunati III had a team-high eight digs to go with eight kills.

Roberto Ventura Diaz led the Lightning with nine kills and George Montilla had 26 assists.

In the Vassar match, Lunati III had a team-high nine kills and nine digs.  Justin Gibbs had 29 assists in the opener and 16 in the Vassar match.

Vassar All-American Matthew Nigge had a match-high 19 kills on 25 swings for the Brewers.

Alvernia continues the season against New Jersey City University next Saturday at the College of Mt. St. Vincent Tri-match.
