Reading, Pa. (Oct. 11, 2018) - Alvernia University (4-12) won the last two sets of the match in a 3-2 win over Penn State-Berks (6-16) Thursday evening in non-conference women's volleyball action at Berks.

Berks won the opening set 25-15 and Alvernia bounced back with a 25-17 win in the second set.  Berks answered with a 25-22 win in the third set to take a 2-1 lead.

Alvernia evened the match with a 25-17 win in the fourth set then closed out the win 15-11 in the fifth.

Paige Stern led the Golden Wolves with 15 kills, five aces, and 10 digs.

Alvernia continues the season hosting Goucher this Saturday during homecoming.
