Reading, Pa. (Mar. 13, 2018) - Elizabethtown College (4-2) used a second-half run to seal a 17-9 win over Alvernia University (0-3) Tuesday afternoon in non-conference women's lacrosse action at Alvernia.

The Golden Wolves scored the first goal of the second half to tie the score at 6-6, but the Blue Jays answered with six of the next seven to build a comfortable lead.

Alyson Keene and Tequila Donnelly scored three goals each to lead Alvernia.  Katie Thompson led all scorers with five for Elizabethtown.

Samantha Rothman played all 60 minutes for Alvernia and made 10 saves.  Etown split time in net with both goalies combining to make five saves.

Alvernia continues the season at Misericordia on Thursday.
