Dallas, Pa. (Mar. 14, 2018) - Logan McGinley hammered down 11 kills to lead Alvernia University (10-11, 4-3) to a 3-0 win over Misericordia University (11-12, 1-6) Wednesday evening in MAC Men's Volleyball action at Misericordia.

The Golden Wolves scored the first five points of the match and led 12-3 on the way to a 25-9 win in the first set.  They went up 2-0 with a 25-19 win in the second set and closed out the match with a 25-13 win in the third set.

Sophomore Collin Welteroth added 10 kills and nine digs for the Golden Wolves.

Alvernia returns home to take on Wilkes University on Saturday.

Alvernia currently sits in fourth place in the MAC.  The first ever MAC postseason for men's volleyball starts April 11 with the top four teams making the field.
