Reading, Pa (April, 24, 2018) - #12 Messiah College (13-3, 8-0) defeated Alvernia University (0-14, 0-7) 18-0 on Tuesday evening in MAC Commonwealth women's lacrosse action at Alvernia University.

The Falcons broke open the scoring with 13 goals in the first to take a 13-0 lead into halftime. Messiah came out of the half and scored five additional goals to take the 18-0 win.

Katharine Giannaras had seven saves in net for the Golden Wolves.

Alvernia concludes its 2018 season on Saturday afternoon with a MAC Commonwealth game at Hood College.
