Scranton, Pa. (Sept. 1, 2018) - Scranton University (2-0) scored three unanswered goals to break a 1-1 tie and take the 4-1 win over Alvernia University (1-1) in non-conference men's soccer action at Scranton.

The Royals struck first with a goal in the 47th minute, but Alvernia came right back to tie it up at 1-1 with a goal from Braden Kreider two minutes later.

Scranton broke the tie in the 54th minute and didn't look back. The Royals went on to score two additional goals in the final 20 minutes to take the 4-1 victory.

Junior goalie Luca Grippi finished the game with six saves.
