Williamsport, Pa. (Sept. 16, 2018) - Alvernia University (1-4-1, 1-0) scored three first-half goals in a 3-0 win over Lycoming College (1-7, 0-1) Sunday afternoon in MAC Commonwealth women's soccer action at Lycoming.

Annie Rose opened the scoring in the 12th minute with a shot over the top of the keeper from the top of the box.  Alison Hyde scored two goals in a span of five minutes later in the first half for the final margin.

Lily Sanky and Kayla Samero each played a half and combined to make six saves in the shutout.

The Golden Wolves hit the road again on Wednesday to face Immaculata University.
