Immaculata, Pa. (Sept. 19, 2019) - Alison Hyde scored two goals to lead Alvernia University (2-4-1) to a 2-1 win over Immaculata University (2-5) Wednesday evening in non-conference women's soccer at Immaculata.

Hyde scored the first goal of the game in the 42nd minute assisted by Grace Silva.  Lily Sankey made two saves in the first half to keep the Golden Wolves in front 1-0 at the break.

Hyde gave the Wolves insurance in the 79th minute assisted by MAC Commonwealth Player of the Week Kyla Gibson.

Immaculata was able to scored on a corner kick with just over three minutes to play.

Alvernia had a 17-6 advantage in shots and Sankey finished with four saves.

Alvernia continues a string of four straight road games at Cabrini on Saturday.
