Radnor, Pa. (Oct. 15, 2019) - Three different players scored a goal each and Alvernia University (8-7) beat Cabrini University (2-11) by a 3-1 final Tuesday afternoon in non-conference field hockey action at Cabrini.

The Golden Wolves scored a goal in each of the first three quarters and the Cavs scored their lone goal in the fourth.

Felicia Getz scored her seventh goal of the season in the eighth minute of play assisted by Erica Groves.  Morgan Mondschein scored her team-leading ninth goal of the year just over a minute into the second quarter, and Taylor Miltner put Alvernia up 3-0 assisted by Madison Pothoff a minute into the third.

Cabrini scored on a loose ball scrum with under a minute to go.

Emma Beamesderfer made four saves for Alvernia in the win.

Alvernia returns to the MAC Commonwealth conference schedule on Saturday when it hosts Hood College.
