Grantham, Pa. (Oct. 15, 2019) - Messiah College (18-6, 6-0) defeated Alvernia University (3-9, 1-4) by a 3-0 final Tuesday evening in MAC Commonwealth women's volleyball action at Messiah.

The Falcons won each of the first two sets 25-12 then closed out the match with a 25-18 win in the third set.

Olivia Frutiger had eight kills for Alvernia and Gabrielle DeLucca had 12 digs.

Alvernia continues the season Saturday at Goucher.
