Chester, Pa. (Oct. 29, 2019) - Widener University (11-6-1, 2-4-1) broke a scoreless tie in the 54th minute and added two more second-half goals in a 3-1 win over Alvernia University (3-15, 0-7) Tuesday evening in MAC Commonwealth women's soccer action at Widener.

Widener held a 6-3 advantage in shots in the first half, but Alvernia goalie Lily Sankey made a pair of saves to help keep the game scoreless.
