#13 Arcadia Tops Alvernia 3-0

Reading, Pa. (Feb. 27, 2019) - Thirteenth-ranked Arcadia University (16-4, 6-0) earned a 3-0 win over Alvernia University (4-10, 1-4) Wednesday evening in Middle Atlantic Conference men's volleyball match at Jack McCloskey Court.

Arcadia opened with a 25-18 win in the first set then held on for a 25-23 win in the second set and closed out the match with a 25-15 win in the third.

Arcadia had three players finished with a match-high 10 kills each.  Anthony Dadson and Victor de Avila led Alvernia with four kills each.  Josh Stewart and de Avila led the team with four blocks and Logan McGinley had a team-best eight digs.

Alvernia is off for a week and returns to action hosting a tournament Friday and Saturday, March 8-9 with Hiram College, Marymount, and Stevens.
