Marymount Tops Alvernia, 3-0

Stewart And McGinley Lead Alvernia With Eight Kills Each

Reading, Pa. (Mar. 9, 2019) - Marymount University (10-11) earned a 3-0 win over Alvernia University (5-12) in the final match of the Alvernia Men's Volleyball Quad Match Saturday afternoon at Jack McCloskey Court.

The Saints took a 25-18 win in the first set, 25-17 in the second, and closed the match with a 25-16 win in the third.

Josh Stewart and Logan McGinley had a team-high eight kills for the Golden Wolves. Stewart and Jon Demeter had nine digs each to lead Alvernia, and Mike Monczewski handed out 21 assists.

Alvernia returns to the conference schedule on Tuesday at Eastern University.
