Williamsport, Pa. (Apr. 24, 2019) - Alvernia University (3-12, 0-7) was held to just two goals in the second half as Lycoming College (7-8, 5-2) took the 23-6 MAC Commonwealth win on Wednesday evening in Men's Lacrosse action at Alvernia.

Jarret Abernethy.
The Warriors went on a 9-0 run over the next 12 minutes to take a 12-2 lead.
Alvernia would score the final two goals of the half to cut the Warriors lead to 12-4.
The Golden Wolves were held scoreless in the third quarter and were held to just two goals in the fourth while the Warriors added 11 more.
Abernethy led Alvernia's offense with three goals and an assist.
Andrew Ritchie finished two goals and three assists.
Jacob O'Donnell played all 60 minutes in net for Alvernia, making 20 saves.
Alvernia closes out its 2019 season on Friday at 7:00 PM at Widener.
