Annville, Pa. (Apr. 8, 2019) - Alvernia University (11-4, 2-1) won two of three doubles matches then five of six singles matches for a 7-2 win over Lebanon Valley College (4-8, 0-2) Monday afternoon in MAC Commonwealth women's tennis action at LVC.

The Golden Wolves sit in third place in the conference after the first three matches.

Amanda Phillips and Ariana Chuprinsky teamed for an 8-5 win at No. 1 doubles and both won singles matches in straight sets at No. 1 and No. 2 respectively. Emily Thek and Laura Covely earned an 8-5 win at No. 2 doubles and both won at No. 3 and No. 4 singles by matching 6-4, 6-4 scores.

Alvernia continues the conference schedule Saturday hosting Lycoming at Exeter High School.
