Center Valley, Pa. (Sept. 18, 2019) - DeSales University (1-0) swept the doubles matches with an 8-6 win at No. 1 on its way to a 7-2 win over Alvernia Univeristy (1-1) Wednesday afternoon in non-conference women's tennis action at DeSales.

The Bulldogs earned an 8-1 win at No. 2 and an 8-4 win at No. 3 doubles.  Alvernia's Arianna Chuprinsky and Lauren Noss kept it close at No. 1, but DeSales pulled out the 8-6 win for a 3-0 lead in the match.

All six singles matches were won in straight sets.  Chuprinsky and Noss won at No. 1 and No. 4 respectively.

Alvernia continues the season on Friday at Delaware Valley University.
