Doylestown, Pa (Sept. 20, 2019) - Alvernia University (2-1) swept Delaware Valley University (3-2) by a 9-0 final Friday afternoon in a non-conference women's tennis matchup.

Starting the day with doubles play, Ariana Chuprinsky and Lauren Noss won their match by a score of 8-4. Leah Kemper and Liz Danovich matched that score in #3 doubles. While at #2 doubles Laura Covely and Cassandra Bean took down their opponents by a score of 8-2.

At #1, #3 and #4 singles Ariana Chuprinsky, Lauren Noss and Cassandra Bean all had convincing victories. Laura Covely and Leah Kemper would match each others scores of 6-4, 6-1 in #2 and #5 singles. Maria Figurelli would wrap up the day for the Golden Wolves with another win by the score of 7-5, 7-6.

The Golden Wolves resume action at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday September 24th in another non-conference matchup against Susquehanna University.
