Selinsgrove, Pa. (Sept. 24, 2019) - Alvernia University (3-1) won two of three doubles matches and four of six singles matches in a 6-3 win over Susquehanna University (1-2) Tuesday afternoon in non-conference women's tennis action at Susquehanna.

Ariana Chuprinski and Laura Covely earned an 8-4 win at No. 1 doubles and Lauren Noss and Maria Figurelli added an 8-3 win at No. 3 doubles.

Covely and Noss both added wins in singles play with Covely needing an 11-9 win in the third set.  Rachel Rineer and Elizabeth Danovich also finished off straight set wins in singles.

Alvernia heads to the MAC Individual Championships this coming weekend in Wilkes-Barre.
