Alvernia Sweeps Three Duals At Thaddeus Stevens

Vogel Goes 3-0 On The Day

Lancaster, Pa. (Feb. 1, 2020) - Alvernia University rolled to three impressive wins on Saturday at the Thaddeus Stevens Duals.

The Golden Wolves defeated Garrett College (Md.) 47-6, knocked off Keystone College 48-4, and finished the day with a 48-3 win over Thaddeus Stevens.

Tanner Vogel was the only Alvernia wrestler to compete in all three duals. He went 3-0 on the day.

Alexander Gorlin and Gavin Hollingsworth both earned wins by pin in the Garrett College match, Austin Rush and Caleb Fischer earned their first pins in the win over Keystone, and Vogel and Charles Zimmerman both picked up pins against Thaddeus Stevens.

Alvernia heads to Springfield, Mass., for the Western New England Duals next Saturday.
