The Falcons added to their lead in with a goal in the 31st minute, and made it a 3-0 contest with just over a minute remaining in the first half.
Messiah's offensive efforts picked up the second half, with 25 of its 38 shots coming in the final 45, but Alvernia gave up just one goal - an unassisted shot by Messiah's Jessie Fisher in the 57th minute.
Both teams went scoreless the rest of the way as Messiah took the 4-0 victory.
