Glassboro N.J. (Sept. 13, 2021)- Alvernia University Women's Soccer (0-3) suffered its third loss of the season, falling short to Rowan University (5-1) on Monday evening in non-conference women's soccer action at Rowan.  
 
The Golden Wolves started the match strong, applying early pressure with two quick corners in the half; however, they were unable to capitalize on the opportunities.
 
Rowan would open up the scoring with a goal that rebounded off the crossbar in the 10^th minute. The Profs would remain in control going into the half, 1-0.
 
The score would remain the same late into the second half until Rowan would net its second goal of the game in the 79^th minute. The Profs offense would prove too much for the Golden Wolves with the match ending, 2-0.
 
Brynn Bock would lead Alvernia with four saves on eight shots faced.
 
The Golden Wolves return to action this Wednesday at home against Clarks Summit University.
