Reading, Pa. (Sept. 25, 2021) - Alvernia University (1-1) fell to DeSales University (1-1) 7-2 on Saturday afternoon at Alvernia.

DeSales took an early 3-0 lead after sweeping doubles play.

The Golden Wolves would get two points back in singles action with Jayden Lewis picking up a 6-0, 6-2 win at #4 singles and Thomas Figurelli picking up a win in a tiebreaker set at #5 singles. 

Those two points would be all Alvernia would get as DeSales picked up wins in the other four singles matches for the 7-2 win.

Alvernia has a quick turnaround and will head to Moravian tomorrow afternoon.
