Wrestling Dominates Home Quad with 3-0 Sweep

Reading, Pa. (Jan. 29, 2022) - Alvernia University (14-3) swept its three matches and went 28-2 in varsity bouts on Saturday at the Alvernia University Quad Match, hosted at the PLEX.

The Golden Wolves defeated Messiah B 49-0, then followed that with a 40-4 win over Trinity. Alvernia closed out the sweep with a 45-6 win over Southern Virginia.

The Golden Wolves were led by Gavin Hollingsworth and Mauro Pellot who each recorded two falls and a technical fall throughout the day.
