Reading, Pa. (Oct. 9, 2022) - Alvernia University (1-3) dropped its final match of the fall season on Sunday afternoon, falling to Moravian University (6-0) in a 7-2 decision at Alvernia.

Alvernia trailed 2-1 going into singles play with the duo of Lucas Berger and Jayden Lewis picking up Alvernia's only point of doubles play with an 8-4 win at #1 doubles.

Alvernia's only point of singles play came at #2 singles with Lewis picking up a three set thriller, 7-5, 2-6, 10-6. 

The Greyhounds picked up straight set wins in the other five singles matches to take the 7-2 win.

Alvernia will return to action in March for its spring season.
