Reading, Pa. (Apr. 13, 2022)- Alvernia University (1-12, 0-5) dropped its contest against Eastern University (5-8, 3-2) 19-0 Wednesday afternoon in a MAC Commonwealth men's lacrosse matchup at Alvernia.
 
The Eagles opened the contest hot, recording ten goals in the first quarter of the contest. Eastern grew its lead in the second, making it a 13-0 Eagles lead to end the first half.
 
Eastern extended the lead in the third quarter, ending the stanza on top 16-0. The Eagles added three more goals to their lead in the fourth quarter, finishing on top of the Golden Wolves, 19-0.
 
Jared Devine had the start in the net for Alvernia, recording 18 saves on the afternoon.
 
The Golden Wolves return to action Wednesday as they travel to take on Widener.
