Reading, Pa. (April 6, 2022) - Alvernia University (7-3, 1-1) picked up just one point against Lebanon Valley College (7-4, 2-0) as the Dutchmen cruised to an 8-1 win over Alvernia on Wednesday in MAC Commonwealth women's tennis action at Alvernia.

Alvernia's only point of the match came off a three-set win by Leah Bouchard at #1 singles. After dropping the second set, 6-4, Bouchard won the third and final set, 10-3.  

Alvernia also nearly picked up a point at #1 doubles, but the Dutchmen were able to edge Alvernia with an 8-7 win off a 7-1 tiebreaker set. 

Alvernia returns to action on Saturday, hosting Messiah.
