Men's Wrestling Announces 2023-24 Schedule

Reading, Pa. (Oct. 10, 2023) - Alvernia University Men's Wrestling announced its 2023-24 schedule on Wednesday, with this year's season set to get underway on Saturday, November 4th.

Alvernia's season will begin at home on November 4th as the Golden Wolves host their annual season-opening invitational. This year's invitational will be in memory of former men's wrestler Tonee Ellis, who passed away over the summer.

The following week, Alvernia heads to Ursinus for the annual Racich Rumble, and then the Golden Wolves go to Muhlenberg College on November 18th for the Scotty Wood Duals.

After a brief break for the Thanksgiving holiday, Alvernia is back in action on December 1st and 2nd at the Petrofes Invitational. The Golden Wolves then have off for finals week before heading out to Ohio on December 16th for the Kalahri Duals.

Alvernia is then at the Wilkes Open on December 22nd before taking some time off for the holidays. The Golden Wolves return to action on January 6th for the Manganaro Duals at Ursinus before heading to King's College for a tri-match on January 9th.

Alvernia then heads down to Virginia for the Virginia Duals as a final tune-up before the MAC Championship on January 20th. Alvernia then returns home for a quad match on January 27th and a home dual with Penn Tech on February 2nd.

The Golden Wolves are then at Elizabethtown for a dual with the Blue Jays on February 3rd and close out the regular season at Ursinus for a dual with the Bears on February 16th.
