Reading, Pa. (March 29, 2023) - Moravian University (11-3) jumped out to a 3-0 lead after doubles play and went on to take a 7-2 win over Alvernia University (5-3) on Wednesday evening in non-conference women's tennis action at Alvernia.

The Greyhounds jumped out to a 3-0 lead after taking 8-5, 8-4, and 8-1 wins in doubles play.

Leah Bouchard edged out a 7-3, 5-6, 10-5 win at #1 singles to get Alvernia on the board, and Jillian Laughman took a 6-4, 6-0 win at #3 singles. But, the Greyhounds took the other four singles matches in straight sets to take the 7-2 match win.

Alvernia is back in action on Saturday at Stevenson.
