Annville, Pa. (April 11, 2023) - Alvernia University (6-4, 1-1) fell to Lebanon Valley College (11-3, 4-0) 8-1 on Tuesday afternoon in MAC Commonwealth women's tennis action at LVC.

The Dutchmen jumped out to a 3-0 lead after doubles following narrow decisions at both the #2 and #3 pairings.

Alvernia's sole point of the match came at #3 singles. Jillian Laughman won the first set, 7-6, before her opponent medically retired.

The Dutchmen won the other five singles matches to take the 8-1 win.

Alvernia is back in action on Friday at Stevenson.
