The Golden Wolves and the Ducks were locked at one after the first 45 minutes before Ryan Cogill broke the ice and netted the first goal of the game in the 68th minute. Alvernia's Evan Bauer added the insurance goal in the 85th minute to secure the 2-0 victory from the Golden Wolves.

  • Cogill broke it open in the 68th minute of the contest after he dribbled around two Stevens defenders and then ripped a shot from just inside the box into the lower left hand corner of the goal and past the diving keeper to make it 1-0 Golden Wolves.
  • Evan Bauer made it two in the 85th minute of the game after an Alvernia corner, the ball found its way to Bauer's foot, he collected it and then ripped the ball into the top left corner of the goal to make it 2-0 Golden Wolves and secure the shutout victory.
