Frederick, Md. (October 30, 2024) - Alvernia University (6-10-2, 1-4-1) played to a 0-0 draw with Hood College (4-6-8, 2-2-2) Wednesday night in a MAC Commonwealth women's soccer matchup at Hood. 

How it Happened 

• The Golden Wolves fired four shots at the Hood goal in the first 25 minutes with Macy McDonough and Madison Rotkiske both recording shots on goal but the Hood goalie Brenna Ellenberger saved both to keep it tied at zero. 
• Alvernia's Kayln Keen tallied two more shots for the Golden Wolves and Rotkiske tallied another but all three went wide as the Golden Wolves and the Blazers headed to the half tied at zero. 
• Hood fired four shots at the Alvernia net in the first 15 minutes of the first half with three going on net but Brynn Bock saved all three to deny the Blazers and keep it level at zero. 
• Hood put seven shots at the Alvernia goal in the final 20 minutes of the game and had three go on goal but Bock saved all three yet again to deny Hood a game winner and the 0-0 draw. 

Inside the Box Score

• Madison Rotkiske recorded three shots with one going on net. 
• Kayln Keen and Tayler Flaherty both had two shots and Flaherty also recorded one shot on goal. 
• Macy McDonough also posted a shot on goal. 
• Brynn Bock tallied seven saves for the Golden Wolves and secured the shutout.
