The Golden Wolves took game one 2-1, but the Diplomats won game two with a five run seventh inning to secure the 6-2 victory in game two and secure the series split.Ā

- The Golden Wolves scored first in the bottom of the first inning after Brooke Hauck singled up the middle to score Maggie Loomis and give the Golden Wolves an early 1-0 lead.Ā
- Alvernia made it two in the next inning thanks to a Jaclyn Barbera RBI double down the left field line to score Meryn Bellacima and give Alvernia a two run advantage.Ā
- The Diplomats cut the lead in half in the fifth inning after a run scored via an Alvernia error to make it a 2-1 game.Ā
- Loomis shut the Diplomats down in their final two at bats to secure the 2-1 victory in game one.Ā

How it HappenedĀ
- F&M struck first in the top of the third after an Alvernia error allowed a run to score to give the Diplomats a 1-0 lead.Ā
- The Golden Wolves and the Diplomats would go scoreless for the next two innings before the Golden Wolves tied the game up in the sixth when Emily Sano worked a bases loaded walk to force in the tying run.Ā
- F&M then broke it open in the top of the seventh, scoring five runs to take a 6-1 lead.Ā
- Alvernia grabbed one back in the bottom of the seventh thanks to a Taylor McClain sacrifice fly to left but it was the only run the Golden Wolves could push across as the Diplomats secured the game two victory and split the series.Ā
