Williams Paces Alvernia at MAC Championships

Fleetwood, Pa (April 27, 2024) - Shawn Williams fired the best score of the day for the Golden Wolves with a four over, 76 on day one of the MAC Men's Golf Championships on Saturday at Golden Oaks Golf Club.

The Golden Wolves are in fifth place after day one with a total team score of 313.

Williams currently sits in a tie for sixth place after his first round 76 and recorded nine pars and three birdies on day one.

Jackson Hoovler and Jack Lynam both recorded a round one score of 79 on Saturday and are both in a tie for ninth. Lynam recorded ten pars and three birdies on Saturday while Hoovler recorded 11 pars and two birdies.

Andrew Bauer and Matthew Gagliardi both recorded 83's on day one and are in a tie for 29th. Bauer recorded ten pars and Gagliardi recorded eight pars and two birdies.

The Golden Wolves are back at it tomorrow for day two of the MAC Championships at Golden Oaks Golf Club.
