Reading, Pa. (October 11, 2025) - Alvernia University (4-6-3, 0-2-0) dropped a MAC Commonwealth women's soccer matchup to York College (8-3-2, 2-0-0), 3-0, Saturday night at Alvernia's Turf Field. 

The Spartans netted two goals in the first half and added a third goal in the second half en route to the 3-0 victory. 

How it Happened 

• The Spartans opened up the scoring in the first 15 minutes of the first half after Carissa Baugus assisted Meg Kalthof in the 15th minute to give York a 1-0 lead. 
• York doubled its lead in the 32nd minute after Kalthof netted her second goal of the night thanks to an assist from Abby Brown to send the Spartans to the halftime break with a 2-0 lead. 
• The Spartans tallied a third goal in the 53rd minute of the contest after Kalthof assisted Lexi Mazzella to secure the 3-0 victory for the Spartans.

•  Macy McDonough and Camille Quirin-Morris both recorded shots on goal for Alvernia. 
• Olivia Swartz and Abby Stair also recorded shots for the Golden Wolves. 
• Emily Rossino recorded three saves in net for Alvernia and Abby Rowley added three saves.
