Personal Bests Fall at Gettysburg’s Aubrey Shenk Invitational

Gettysburg, Pa. (October 18, 2025) - Four Golden Wolves recorded personal best 8k times Saturday as Alvernia University competed at Gettysburg's Aubrey Shenk Invitational in men's cross country action.

The Golden Wolves finished in 17th place with a team score of 541.

Spencer Hahn led the way for the Golden Wolves with a personal best time of 26:03.4 and finished in 38th place. Hahn's time also set the new 8k school record.

Sam Martinez followed Hahn with a personal best as well in the 8k and recorded a time of 26:32.0 and finished in 50th place. Martinez's time bested his previous personal best by nearly a minute.

Ryan Dennison also bested his personal best by a minute and posted a time of 27:33.5 and finished in 101st.

Younes Naimi posted a time of 31:26.5 and recorded a season best time in the 8k. Brandon VanSchaick tallied the fourth personal best for the Golden Wolves with an 8k time of 31:53.2.

The Golden Wolves are back in action on November 1st when they head down to Delaware Valley for the MAC Championships.
