The Golden Wolves and the Falcons were level at zero after the first 45 minutes of action but the Falcons broke it open in the second half and tallied two goals in the first 15 minutes of the second half to make it 2-0. Messiah then added one more insurance goal in the final 20 seconds of the contest to secure the 3-0 victory.

How it Happened
  • The Falcons controlled the offense in the first half and recorded 13 shots in the first half compared to Alvernia's one and sent five shots on goal, four of which were saved by Alvernia keeper Evan Solley and the other was a team save by Jackson Taliani.
  • The Falcons then struck first seven minutes into the second half after Gabe Redcay assisted Matt Griffin to make it 1-0 in the 52nd minute.
  • Messiah doubled its lead just over seven minutes later when Jalen Keller and Sam Philips assisted Patrick Lee to make it a two goal Messiah lead.
  • Zander Templeton and Connor Kraycik fired shots on goal for the Golden Wolves in the next 25 minutes but Messiah's Forrest Kessler saved both to preserve the two goal lead.
