Golden Wolves Blank Monarchs, 6-0

Reading, Pa. (November 14, 2025) - Six Golden Wolves found the back of the net Friday night to power Alvernia University (4-1-0, 3-0-0) past King's College (0-5, 0-3), 6-0, in a MAC women's ice hockey matchup at Body Zone.

The Golden Wolves held just a one goal lead after the first 20 minutes of action but turned up the pressure in the second and third periods and netted five goals in the final 40 minutes of play en route to the 6-0 victory. The Golden Wolves defense controlled the defensive zone all night and allowed just 13 total shot attempts with eight of them going on goal but Alvernia's Stephanie Skorupa saved all eight attempts on goal to secure the shutout.
