Golden Wolves and Mighty Macs Play to 1-1 Draw.

Reading, Pa (August 31, 2025) - Alvernia University's (0-0-1) first-year Camille Quirin-Morris netted a game tying goal in the final four minutes of the game to salvage a 1-1 draw against Immaculata University (0-0-1) Sunday evening in a non-conference women's soccer matchup at Alvernia.

The Mighty Macs broke open the scoring in the first eight minutes of the second half to make it a 1-0 game but the Golden Wolves were awarded a penalty in the final five minutes of regulation and Camille Quirin-Morris buried her penalty opportunity into the bottom right corner to level the score at one.

How it Happened
  • A scoreless first half was highlighted by Immaculata tallying four shots at the Alvernia net with the Golden Wolves recording only two.
  • The Mighty Macs netted the first goal of the game in the 53rd minute after Gracie Repici found the back of the net to put Immaculata up 1-0 heading into the final 37 minutes of regulation.
  • The Golden Wolves and Mighty Macs battled back and forth for the next 30 minutes before Tayler Flaherty was fouled in the box and won a penalty for Alvernia. First year Camille Quirin-Morris stepped up to the spot and buried the ball into the bottom right corner to bring the Golden Wolves level with the Mighty Macs and secured the 1-1 draw.
