Arnold’s First Period Goal Lifts Golden Wolves Over Cougars, 1-0

Reading, Pa. (February 7, 2026) - Alvernia University (13-9-0, 11-7-0) netted a first period goal late in the period en route to a 1-0 victory over Misericordia University (4-17-1, 4-13-1) Saturday night in a MAC men's ice hockey matchup at Body Zone.

Alvernia took the 1-0 lead with just over five minutes left in the period off the stick of Joey Arnold thanks to an assist from Anthony Piccininno and that was all the Golden Wolves needed en route to the 1-0 victory.
